Dear Mr. George Walker Bush:

Over the course of the last six years, you have done a number of things that have angered me, that have outraged me, that have disgusted me and that have caused me to seriously question your mental capabilites.

Your father was a poor president, and I have vigorously opposed your election to the office on two occasions - as I feel you and your family are representative of all that is WRONG with America.

Last night, however, you surpassed even my most dire expectations. You have offended me to the core of my being by using... USING... tragedy of 9/11/01 as an ELECTIONEERING device. You have turned the deaths of thousands into nothing more than a manipulative device to further your personal political agenda and that is without question the most heinous, Machiavellian, unethical, immoral and heartless thing you could have done.

You used the greif of thousands of Americans and uncounted others around the world as a POLITICAL stepping-stone. You, Sir, are scum.

SHAME ON YOU.

The Bush administration continually uses the deaths of nearly 3,000 people to push their political agenda regarding the war in Iraq. Yet, these very same people lambast Cindy Sheehan and say she is using the death of her son to further her political agenda.

Hmm, let's think about it for a second, Bush uses the deaths of thousands to cause more death and Sheehan uses the death of HER OWN son to try to stop more deaths. Which one is actually a noble cause?

Amen, Robert.

What I find particularly sad is that the majority of those lambasting Cindy Sheehan proudly refer to themselves as "Compassionate Christians".

Let me see...in other words, you are the ultimate authority on what is moral and what is not. Christians, by your definition, are supposed to be moral. Therefore, any Christian who takes a stand that is not in agreement with yours is hypocritical and decidedly immoral. Ok, I get it now!

Funny that you "get it" and still get it so wrong. Is that why you prefer to enter your comments anonymously?

Guess what, Anonymous?

I AM the ultimate authority on what is moral and what is not. You, howver, are nothing more than a testicularly challenged chickenshit who hides behind "anonymous" rather than taking the chance that someone might know who you are and realize what a fucking hypocrite you are.

Christians by their own self-definition are "moral" individuals, therefore one can only expect that if they feel the right to make pronouncements on everyone ELSE"S morality or lack thereof, they themselves must in fact be morally pure.

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

Judge not, lest ye be judged, condemn not, lest ye be condemned.

Yes, I see that you were right, Leandra. I really didn’t get it. I think I get it now, deeply, in a way that was utterly beyond me before.

Sewmouse, you are very concerned about people who choose to write without identifying themselves so I will tell you why I choose to be anonymous. I have seen how you have treated people who disagree with you when you know who they are. After seeing how you treated your own daughter I decided I would be anonymous. Not that I intended to say anything unkind, and originally I didn’t.

I am, in fact, the same anonymous that shared information with you about how fat slows down the digestion. Somehow that one post gave me courage to say something more. I apologize for doing so. That’s what I mean, Leandra, when I say I finally get it. This is a blog for a certain kind of viewpoint only and mine is not welcome. I do truly apologize, Sewmouse. This is your blog and it should remain precisely as you wish it to be.

I will go and not come back, but first I will offer this peace offering to you. Since you were pleased with my first posting and since we are apparently much alike in our medical difficulties, I offer one more bit of information. Look up information on Leptin. It is a very important hormone that was only just discovered in the 1990’s. Any books that offer information on Leptin would be very good. Especially I suggest a book called “The Fat Resistance Diet” by Dr. Leo Galland. He has apparently had great success helping diabetics and people with other medical difficulties. His work has helped me a lot.

Again, I beg you both to accept my sincere apology for my intrusion.

And again you show your cowardice by posting "Anonymously" rather than letting your identity be known.

You claim to be the helpful person who responded to my pizza woes, and for that I have already thanked that anonymous.

What occurs between myself and my family - while I may choose to vent my spleen over it here in my blog - is between myself and my family. Unless you ARE a member of my family (and if so, SHAME ON YOU FOR BEING A COWARD!), you cannot know the dynamics of that situation well enough to take issue with what I've written to my daughter.

My daughter and I, as well as my brother and I, have a number of unresolved issues - issues that will, most likely, not be resolved any time soon.

As for Christians in general... and it certainly does seem as though you must claim to be one by your attitude - your lack of tolerance, your judgemental attitude toward my posts, your "holier than thou" self-righteous indignation at my not agreeing with you all bespeak the typical Christian hypocracy.

If it offends you that I'm honest about my feelings - Don't let the doorknob hit you in the ass on your way out.
