Since you're from Canada, you probably wouldn't get the reference - January 20, 2009 is the countdown date - the date of the next Presidential Innauguration, assuming there is one.
Oh, TFWY - They all stood back up again when the sun hit them yesterday afternoon. I think if these things were growing any more miraculously they'd eat Tokyo or something. I can't believe how huge the leaves are in such a short time!!
I found you through BBC. Is that Mr. Farty? We're already disagreeing about sex.
Oh Presidential Innauguration - I don't follow US politics closely but generally most of us are up to date on what's going on in the States just by watching the news. The whole world is affected by what goes on in the USA and other influential countries.
Oh! Ok, no, BBC isn't Mr. Farty - he's Mr. Grumpy sometimes, but interstingly enough, his grumpy tends to be inversely proportionate to my grumpy - so if you are over-grumped by one of us, the other is probably perky and sunny.
I'll keep that in mind. I have my grumpy moments, too. Actually I used to be much more grumpy but have lightened up over the years. It's not that I don't care anymore about certain issues, it's that I have to watch my blood pressure and choose my battles.
Ohhh dear. Now we know why cats have that attitude.
ReplyDeleteWell that sucks.
ReplyDeleteHugs.
Coming on the heels of your flaccid Zucchini, that is unfair. Speaking of the latter....have you tried Miracle-Viagra, yet?
ReplyDeleteWhat's the countdown for? 593 days until what? I know I could read back and find out but asking you is more efficient (accountants love that word).
ReplyDeleteI do plan on reading your back posts. So far I've enjoyed it very much especially the post about your Godson's graduation dilemma.
I also loved the Canada attacking Holland photo, of course.

ReplyDeleteWelcome, Babzy! Found me from Mr. Farty's site?

ReplyDeleteDisgusting state of affairs, really.
